Erica has a three day weekend so we took the opportunity to get our booster shots today. I wanted to make sure she had time to recover in case she felt some symptoms. She felt a little bad after the first two shots. I didn’t feel any side effects from either of the first shots. Being such a well chiseled athletic specimen I am expecting no side effects from the booster. We celebrated by stopping by Raleigh‘s finest Chinese food joint The Beansprout for some takeout. I got General Tso's and she got sesame chicken. It’s the first time in the last two years Erica has been to an establishment that wasn’t her job or the local grocery store. Even though we’ve both gotten three shots we are going to continue to wear our masks for the time being. I’ve gotten and conquered Covid-FU but I’m a little concerned about the BA-2 variant. Early indications is it’s more transmissible than Omicron but the CDC is not sure of its strength. I’m not gonna put myself in harms way if I don’t have to. But at this current moment in time I am as protected as I will ever be. Suck it, Covid.

It has been there as far back as can remember. it's not fancy. It will never get a Michelin star. But it will satisfy all your cravings. I absolutely love this place.

when I get Chinese food with friends we always each get something different so we can share.
I'm keeping my mask on unless I'm home, at someone's house where I KNOW everyone's had their shots, or if I'm eating or drinking.

I am not familiar with the concept of sharing my Chinese food. Reach for a dumpling, you'll pull back a bloody stump. LOL
