somedayseattleYesterdays double shift at The Park was hell on my old ass, creaky knees. Makes sense after over 2 years of unsupervised inactivity. Hopefully things will become easier once I become adjusted to prolonged periods of actual movement. I did not want to close the book on yesterday without dropping another chapter of "Why The Eff Did You Name Your Kid That!!??"
1- Cassiopeia. In mythology she is the mom of Andromeda. In Raleigh she is a pigtailed girl with braces.
2-Winchester. Great last name, dreadful first name.
3-Otis. The only Otis I ever knew was a porky maintenance worker when I lived at Sailboat Bay Apartments. I bought weed from him once every 2 weeks. He knew my paydays and would always schedule my apartment for a "maintenance visit" on those days. LOL. Otis was the perfect name for that guy. Unfortunately yesterdays Otis was a 2 year old girl. I am sure her parents patted themselves on the back for being oh-so clever. If you are going to name a girl something stupid why not John F. Kennedy? At least with that she can maintain a shred or two of dignity. Down here in the Dirty South I am sure poor Otis will have years of Otis The Drunk jokes from stupid little hillbilly boys.
