Shout out to
geminiwench who knows her stuff.
The other day I posted a song by Alice In Chains. I mentioned the lyrics are a little cryptic until you knew the full story. It’s in that spirit that I’m posting this Mother Love Bone track today. This is one of my top five favorite songs of all time. It’s softer than heavy but heavier than soft. It’s a stunning piece of work. It constantly baffles me that such a gorgeous piece of music can be made by a bunch of long-haired, sweaty 20 year old kids. This may or may not be a hint regarding the aura draped around the Alice track. If you’re not familiar put on your headphones, close your eyes and lose yourself in a transcendent eight minute journey.
