the angels of autumn

It’s been a slow but disheartening past couple of days. When I first got home from the hospital I couldn’t get off the bed but within a week or so I was zipping around on the walker. I got up to about 50 feet with no issues. But over the last couple days my legs have betrayed me. I am wobbly and unsure. My back issues are off the charts. I cannot stand straight up which may be playing a part in this. I haven’t fallen but I feel like my legs could give out at any moment. I’m currently going 100 miles an hour in the wrong direction. Casey, my physical therapist, could not meet with me last week. I will see him on Thursday and hopefully we can figure out what’s currently bothering me. Guess I have to cancel all my racquetball games this week.
