the bumpiest roads of raleigh
Aug. 21st, 2023 05:41 pmDa Younga Sista and J-Nic went to Charlotte yesterday to a cookout/hangout with Drunken Gurg (Sista's long time separated but still legally married schlubby hubby).
Because of that Sista and I did a rare MeMum Visit, Monday Style. Lucy was chatty, speaking full sentences again.
"What time is the movie?"
"I told her not to go but she did not listen" (Intriguing!)
"I had one but I can't find it now."
Of course its all disconnected but it's refreshing to see she is stringing full thoughts together. One week its single word thoughts, the next is complete sentences. We never know which Mom we are going to be confronted with. It's maddening.
Moms hair has not been cut in a good long while. Its long and The Unhappiest Place In America's nurses have it pulled back into a bun (like a twenty-something hipster douche). It looks okay but if she were in her right mind she would be pissed. She always wore her hair short and would NEVER be caught in a bun. As always....Alzheimers can suck a dick.
