Jun. 29th, 2023 04:08 pmHad a carousel shift with Anna Ho-Ho-Ho. It started off kind of slow but then at least 5 day camps came in. We did 7 rides in a row at maximum capacity (64 riders). I hate these large groups. The kids are horribly behaved and the adults feel like they can dump the little fucks off and they become our responsibility. Tasty Taste said it best-

I yelled at the kids. I stopped the carousel and threw 2 kids off for repeatedly misbehaving. One of the teenaged YMCA counselors thought it was good idea to give me shit about that. Gotta say.....that was not in her best interest. I gave her a dressing down in front of the other counselors. Perhaps, I suggested, you could do YOUR job and control these little monsters. My job is to run the ride not teach your creeps civility and manners. If you cannot handle even the simplest of responsibility maybe you should give your notice and take a job more suited to your skill level, like kennel cleaner or street sweeper. The ride eventually ended and the counselors removed the kids. On the way out one of the counselors apologized for the kids behaviour. She also apologized for other counselor coming a me. "She was out of line". I thanked her for the comments and suggested she apply to work with Da Park.
