a day without rain

Great band but criminally overlooked in America. Moat people know "The Boys Are Back In Town" and nothing else. Unlike The Stones or Pink Floyd, Target is not shilling shirts with their logo on them.
Earlier today some scruffy long haired teen came into the carousel with a Thin Lizzy tee. I asked him about it. "Which era do like best?" He said he dug the Gary Moore years but preferred John Sykes (as do I). He said his dad turned him on to the band (that's a god dad right there). The kid was legit and my heart was warmed.
On the drive home after my shift I was cutting through a neighborhood on the way to get Erica from work. I saw a beautiful sporty silver Mercedes on the road. A Thin Lizzy sticker adorning the bumper.
Wow. 2 Thin Lizzy sightings in one day, That's more than all of the year this far! Looks like The Weirdness Parade is healthy and still rolling!
