Dec. 1st, 2022 08:47 amWalking to the car to bring Erica to work this morn.....I found a dirty $1 bill on the ground. Hopefully I will find an additional 99 as the day rolls on.
Today is opening night for The Holiday Thangy at Da Park. Yesterday was as chaotic as I thought it might be. A lot more people (finally!!) involved in getting everything completed in time. If there were this many involved in the past few weeks, yesterday would have been a "kick back and deal with loose ends" day. Hopefully some of those above me will learn from this. The girl who does the scheduling (C-Mac) leaked to me that tonight I will be working with the Raleigh Fire Department in the 'Smores Station tent. I have absolutely no clue what my roll will be but I know there will be 3 or 4 actual fire pits for the folks to roast 'mallows. I will be warm and smell like a fireplace by the nights end.
