Erica and I were heading to her job an hour ago, rolling down Ridge Road. It's a reasonably busy street that runs from The Beltline to Wade Ave (itself a busy thoroughfare). Ridge Road is filled with older upper-middle class ranch houses and more and more McMansions. There is a big church and 2 schools within 1/10 of a mile. As we rolled past the schools Erica pointed out the window toward a yard. "Wow! Look!". There was deer with its young'un in the front yard. Mama Deer had stepped off the yard and had her front hooves in the street. We slowed to a stop. The deer fam thought otherwise abut trekking across the street and retreated to the yard. Never would we have expected to see such a lovely sight on such a busy road.

A nice way to get the day started.

Day off. Bored. Erica works until 2:15 today. I don't have anything to do.

She brought home a box of random pasta the other day. I have canned 'maters and some sausage links. Looks like there'll be a soup concocted in a few!
