all this life i've lived

I was watching Sanford and Son whilst awaiting a phone call from my endocrinologist when I dozed off for a few minutes. When I awoke WKRP in Cincinnati was on. As a side note, I am on a cocktail of about 14 different drugs right now. This is causing too many side effects. I am def not comfy with this nonsense. One of these little treasures is occasionally having trouble differentiating between reality and fantasy (I should say 'more than usual' lol) When I bounced out of my unscheduled nappage it took me a few seconds to realize I am awake. I had not in fact taken the Time Machine back to A Better Time. It was quite surrealistic but for a solid seven seconds I felt like myself again. I felt young, vibrant, athletic. Apropos, it was seeing my wheelchair that brought me back to the meh that I’m currently calling reality.

There was a study done where they put a bunch of older men in surroundings with the stuff from when they were younger and encouraged them to talk as if they were still that age. When they measured their physical age markers they had actually got younger. So maybe WKRP is actually a time machine? The problem is getting drugs good enough that you never come back to reality. I used to like WKRP, you never hear anything about it now but it's clearly still having an effect as someone I know has a dog called Bailey Quarters.
