Spoke with Da Younga Sista today. MeMum is not in bad enough shape to be put in a local Hospice home (JFC, how effed up do you have to be???). Instead they are shipping her back to the Unhappiest Place in America tomorrow, where she will not be looked after, not checked in on and in general, not given the care she needs. She is not in bad enough shape to get out of that shithole but in poor enough condition to not be there. Eff this country's healthcare. Goddamn ridiculous. Going back to Unhappiest is nothing short of a death sentence. Shit goddamn hell fart turd twat.

Well, my mom was admitted after a massive stroke that filled her brain with blood. She was there so they could keep her sedated and out of pain while she died. So, i'm thinking, pretty bad.

Sorry, she had her seizure on 29 May last year so it's top of mind.

Thanks, i understand a little of where you have been, as mom also had dementia. But it was different too. I hope your Mom has some ease right now, and that the sisters can work together a little better. I'm sure Erica and Maxwell support your heart, and i hope that you are able to make it through this difficult time with out the unnecessary grief the bureaucracy and continual SNAFU of the health care system making it worse.
