a deepening sense of dread
Jan. 21st, 2025 05:11 pmIt’s currently 21° with a slight wind. The roads have all been covered with brine. A lot of the schools in the state announced today they would be closed tomorrow. We are stocked up with emergency supplies (Soy sauce, gingham, pressure treated lumber and silk hankies)
All we need now is the actual inclement weather.
Here we snow again.
2nd chance of snow in just over a week. Last time we got nuttin'. Right now Winter Storm Enzo (why are we naming snowstorms? So stupid} is pommeling Louisiana, Georgia & Effin' Florida, Spots in Effin' Florida are under a foot of snow!!! If we can catch even a corner of this storm we should see a nice pile by tomorrow. The talking tv drones say the party should start in about 30 minutes.
