putting the doubts to rest

I’ve been particularly bored lately so I booked two rides yesterday. Erica and I went to the first 7-Eleven in Raleigh ever. It’s been there about a year and it was actually on my list of things to do the weekend I went into the hospital last year. She got a Slurpee and I got a cup of French vanilla coffee. She pointed out we were one day off from a free cup. It never dawned on me yesterday was 7/10.
Then we rolled over to a Publix grocery store. They’re one of a few grocery chains trying to squeeze into the Raleigh market (pun definitely intended). We went to the location on Peace St. which is the bottom level of a six story apartment building. It was fun to get out of the house as always but their prices are insanely high. It made me want to come home and get insanely high.
