I am really, really bummed to hear David Sanborn passed yesterday. He was in incredibly talented saxophone player. His forays into Pop and Funk/jazz are wonderfully soulful. I didn’t care for his forays into smooth jazz bt that is more my dislike of the genre than his work. The LP he made with Bob James, Double Vision, is in my top 10 of all time not to mention the king of all baby making albums.

I was watching a Seattle Mariners game last night and in between innings I dropped in to check out a Detroit Tigers game. I’ve been watching a lot of the Tigers home games. Their HD feed is stunningly beautiful. It really makes you feel as if you’re standing on the field with them. The pitcher had just released the ball and a moment later Spencer Tarkleson cracked one 400 feet. A surprise The Baseball Game game winner!!!!
