just one fatal flaw
May. 8th, 2024 10:20 amStarting off the day with another Sanford & Son marathon. That’s OK in my book. It’s been expectedly slow around here the last few days. Having minimal transportation leads to minimal adventures. Had a surprise visit from Da Younga Sista Sunday night. She dropped in with a six pack of donuts from local mad scientists Duck Donuts. Gourmet donuts for the win! We sat in the lobby and chatted for a couple hours about her recent beach trip with J-Nic, MayGun💕 and their respective boyfriends.
J-Nic has moved to a new salon and in the transition had yesterday off. She dropped in and hung with Erica and me. After an hour of chatting the girls went off to O’Malley‘s to grab some bar food. It was her birthday last week. -She is now a brisk 27 years of age. I try to guide her as well as I can. I hope my advice falls somewhere in the "helpful" department as opposed to the "my uncle is a whack job" department.
I am slowly growing accustomed to the giant 55 inch theater screen in the bedroom. It’s weird watching Jeopardy but it’s amazing watching baseball. I’ve been watching Mets games at night live and then Mariners game the next day. My only chance of catching the Mariners live is if they play in east coast team...like last night for instance. I tuned into the game top of the 2nd inning. On the the first pitch I see Mitch Haniger launches a 330 foot home run to centerfield. It’s A The Baseball Game game winner! Now on the giant screen!
