fun with numbers 2:electric boogaloo
Aug. 5th, 2023 04:28 pmAnother Saturday, another morning train shift with Dr Watson. Had a bt of time before we officially opened. We were sitting on the choo-choo when Dr asked what my ride count was. The test run had been ride # 1,666. I did the math....
1,666 rides. Each between 6-7 minutes. I drive a little quicker than some, so I used 6 as my baseline.
1,666 (X) 6 = 9,996 minutes
9,996 minutes (÷) 60 = 166.6 hours
166.6 hours (÷) 24 hours= 6.96 days
I have spent almost a solid week on the train. 1,666 rides equals 166.6 hours. That is pretty nifty. With all the 6's in this equation I celebrated the only I knew how.
I bought a 6-pack on the way home.
