the prettiest girl in the graveyard
Aug. 1st, 2023 11:08 amOff today with nothing to do. I am off tomorrow until 6:30 when we have a 'team building event'. What a drag. It's only an hour. How much team building can be done in an hour? I hope there is food.
Most of the people who come to Da Park are pretty average. Stay-at-home moms, nanny’s, grandparents. But every once in a while someone stands out above the din. Yesterday was one of those situations.
I was working the carousel with Sean Flower. He’s a junior in college but carries himself well. He’s smart and sarcastic and interesting. We were loading people onto the carousel, about to get it going when she appeared. In one hand she had her phone, attempting to get tickets online by furiously texting with her thumb. On her other hand a little girl dressed as a princess. Since she was in the process of getting tickets we had time to chat a little.
She was slightly taller than me with long jet black hair. Her eye makeup was done Amy Winehouse style.
Spacers in her ears and black lipstick. Thigh length black skirt and Doc Martens. She was a true goth beauty.
But what really caught my eye was the birthmark/mole on her right shoulder. It was a good 2 inches wide and as hairy as any member of ZZ Top. Obviously I would never make comment on this type of thing but this was out of the ordinary. I asked her about its uniqueness. “Spot? Whenever I get my hair dyed I dye Spot's as well“ she chuckled. “I dyed my hair black a couple weeks ago and if I dyed them black too Spot would look like a tarantula. Now she's showing her support of Ukraine“
Yeah, she had dyed her mole hair blue and yellow to mimic the Ukraine flag. I was bewildered but impressed. I sure hope I see her again soon. I def want to hang with her for a while.
