Hey! Hey!! It's KC Storytime!
It was chilly and rainy today. Not a lot happening at Da Park. I arrived for my afternoon shift to a group of peeps in the break area. Dr. Watson, Josh Jay, The Unfortunately Named Harry Wang, Meathead Kerson and Curly Sam. KC came in the same time I did. I don't recall what the topic of discussion was but Curly Sam said "...not exactly a Mensa meeting going on." KC sighed and said something to efect of "Those guys are gross." Dr Watson replied "Mensa? What's wrong with them?"
KC-"They think it's okay for grown men to date boys."
Sam-"You sure about that?"
KC-"Yeah. It's in the name. MEN-sa"
Dr Watson suggested she look them up on her phone. She did and realized her error.
KC-"Who the hell am I thinking of?" I suggested she look up NAMBLA. When she found some info she realized her error.
KC-"Whoopsies. Guess no one will confuse me as a Mensa member."
Me-"Or NAMBLA"
KC had a very sheltered upbringing. She (along with Anna Ho-Ho-Ho) has a really effed up family and has some amazing(ly weird) stories about them. She is great at her job. I don't want to give the image that she is not that bright....just unique. Really, really unique.
