not carrying your water any longer

It was a lovely 65 degree day with a light wind. That's my definition of perfect weather. Had a shift on the train with Peter Pumpkin Eater. One of the last we will share as his time is winding down. It was uneventful but still fun, as it always is with Pete (the fun part not the uneventful).

So then what is this post about, loser? Glad you asked. Hey! Hey! It's KC Storytime!

I went into KC/Andrews office to bitch about Dr Watson STILL not being on the schedule (my incessant complaining worked. Andrew called him immediately. His orientation is Thursday, first shift training Friday! Huzzah!)

Long story short...I complained about my schedule next week which led KC to say she would be more amenable moving forward which led to a discussion of the Metallica LP, which led to the admittance by KC that she did not know they were still a thing, which led to KC's blurting out her cousin loves Metallica but he is in prison now.

Me-"They put him in prison for liking Metallica?"
KC-"No, silly boy. He is jail for growing meth in the basement."
Me-"One does not GROW meth, they build a lab and manufacture it".
KC-"That explains all that shit in the basement".

I told her how much I loved her and left for the train. She has no idea how much joy she brings me.
