anything but predictable

Another in a long line of days dealing with Chrimma crap. The Holiday Thang begins Thursday and runs for 18 nights. D-Anna said the other day that we were a little ahead of things. Um....I dont think so. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain all day. Seems to me like the Thang will open on time but we will not have everything done. There are at least 3 clusters of displays that do not have extension cords run to them. That was supposed to be handled on (one of the 2) nights that the staff stayed late to light everything. None of the blow up decorations are out and there is stuff arriving every day. There is an entire storage container filled with new figurines that need to get put out and electrified. Not to mention not Scott ordered $10,000 more shit last week (which has yet to arrive).

I have a meeting with Not Scott tomorrow. Either he is going to lay out how I can get back to doing the job the hired me to do (train driver extraordinaire)...or fire me. Ha. Either way I hope it means my life as a Chrimma decorator are over. Now on to 18 days of being an elf...or ticket scanner...or caboose rider. Who knows??
