Lava lampshades

It’s a beautifully crisp 32° morning. Pulling into the parking lot after dropping Erica at work I was greeted by a deep blue sky. The moon is out, which is one of my favorite sites. There is a vapor trail running from right to left underneath it. There was another plane coming from the left and it had just crossed the earlier trail. I stood in the parking lot for a couple seconds watching it when I realized the moon and the vapor trails had formed a cosmic skull and crossbones. I hope that’s not a harbinger for the coming
day.
