Aug. 29th, 2022 07:15 pmHad the day off so I had an LL COOL J Day.
Did the Laundry.
Made a Lasagna.
Listened to some COOL Jazz in the form of Stan Getz, Lester Young and, of course, Louis Prima.
Erica seems to have turned the corner with her sickness. She spit up early this morning but has not had any involuntary protein spills since. She was 'feeling achy' all over so we did what any normal people would do....we ate the lasagna in bed while watching Ren & Stimpy. It was quite a risky undertaking as all of bed fixin's were part of todays laundry haul. We came through like champs, though. Not a single stain!
We got our bill from The Law Talking Guys. I missed my estimate by $1000. Holy shit. Those pricks charge us for every little thing. There is a line item where we were charged when Lawyer Lady had to ask another lawyer a question about procedure ("Conference with D*** D*** regarding submittal of inventory to court") . I am surprised we don't get a charge when they are thinking about our problems while on the toilet. We still have The Fidelity Issue to tend to so I imagine another excessive bill is just around the corner.
