waiting for coffee and a charitable crumb
Aug. 12th, 2022 07:21 pmWorked the carousel again today. 9-2. Met a group of Ukrainian refugees who spoke not a word of English. But they understood my making a heart with my hands and giving them a thumbs up. Met a 5 year old with a mullet named Ralph. I told his granny how refreshing it is to hear a strong boys name instead of soft names like Tristan or Liam. Give me a Jack, Tom or Joey any day of the week! I asked her what his middle name happened to be. She laughed and assured me she was telling me the truth. King Louis. His middle name was King Louis. I told her that when Ralph hits his teen years he must go by that. Can you imagine meeting a cute teen girl and saying "Hi, I'm King Louis!". Damn right.
Faxed a bank statement from Fidelity to the Medicaid broad proving the account has been closed. Thankfully that was the extent of my Lawyer/Medicaid bullshit for today.
Early this morn I got the horrible news one of my favorite cousins passed away yesterday. He was only 49. I don't want to get it into right now. Will discuss more in the future. Today I just want to ride the wave of knowing a kid named King Louis exists.
