I am off tomorrow and meeting Da Younga Sista at 3PM at The Unhappiest Place In America. We are meeting with a Hospice rep (not the traditional end-of-life Hospice. We are setting up weekly Hospice visits to make sure MeMum is okay....and eventually we will evolve into end-of-life care). By arranging these visits we are kind of admitting we know she is not long for this world. But if I now Lucy she will hang on for another decade just to prove me wrong. In a huge surprise Da Olda Sista has agreed to attend. Since Mom has been in care Olda has only seen her twice. Olda had a stressful time with the Medicaid application process and I am sure she harbors anger about that. I am not judging her, though. I do believe everybody grieves in the own way. This is going to be a heavy meeting and I will be wedged in between Da Headstrong Sistas. Yikes and YIKES.
