Erica and I rolled over to the DMV today so she could get a new state ID. She does not have a drivers license due to her cerebral palsy (and extreme laziness). Unfortunately we were told it was by appointment only. We spent a little time chilling on the porch, eating pistachios and throwing the shells at people. I went downstairs for a cup of hot chocolate, all the time trying to figure out something interesting to write about today. I could’ve simply taken the day off but I have a streak of over 200 consecutive days with posts and I didn’t wanna screw that up. So I found something to talk about. I didn’t say it was interesting, just something to talk about.

A couple weeks ago the blue neon clock (gifted from Da GOAT) that hung above the computer stopped ticking. The space sat empty for a couple weeks until we recently found ourselves at Target. We stumbled across a no-frills, nothing fancy clock for $4. Perfect! We hung it above the computer but being a little smaller than the blue clock it looked kind of lost. On Sunday I went to Target (in grey sweatpants and a dirty t-shirt. I looked like a beaten-by-life, haggard Dad. LOL) and bought a second $4 clock. I hung the new one just beneath the first one. Our clocks now show East Coast and West Coast time. Why? Why not? I wonder who will be the first to tell me the bottom clock shows the wrong time. Maybe I should get some plaques made that say ‘NYC’ and ‘San Francisco’.
