Fuck England Day was a mellow but fun affair. Erica had to work until 2 so I spent the morning on the bed researching five day cruises. Around noon some Dipshit set up equipment at the pool and began blaring music. His choice of music was terrible and his DJ skills were even worse. Proving the decline in our apartment building the police were called and shut that shitshow down. Around four Eddie the Painting Guy and Tony Beer came over. Eddie TPG stopped and picked up a quarter mile of food. He brought chicken barbecue, pork barbecue, 'tater salad, cole slaw, mac & cheese and peach cobbler. It was a true southern meal to celebrate our independence. I have a special bond with those two. They are more than el recordo sto' barflies. They are truly friends. We had a good time and decided to make it a semi regular thing. Next met up is a pizza night at the end of the month with them. It’s good to have friends who make you laugh and feel good.
