somedayseattleEl Recordo' Sto' has been running a fundraiser for me. It’s with a website called Meal Train. When I discussed this with Da Judge we were under the impression it was a service that would supply meals to Erica and me. We thought it would be some nice home cooked meals every few days but it turns out it was just like a Go Fund Me page. They don’t supply any food...they encourage those who see the page to do so. In this case, we are just raising $$$$ for expenses. I have to admit I am completely 1000% blown away by the generosity of people. Scrolling through the donation list I recognized a handful of people but they were far more that I did not know. We have hit our goal and quite honestly that brought tears to my eyes. The amount of people who took time and money out of their lives to help someone they’ve never met has really restored some of my faith in the world.
