A morning train shift with Annoying Mike. The rain and inclemency has left and it was 90 degrees and humid. Makes sitting behind a hot propane engine even more enjoyable. Today would've been an average, no-frills day but Mike gave me quite a spectacular compliment. After my second go-round as a driver, before we let the next batch of riders into the station, he patted me on the back and said "That may be the best ride I have ever seen. I mean, damn, that was smooooooooth." To say that was unexpected is an understatement of epic proportions.
