I got out of the house just after 10:30 to meet Da Younga Sista at the Unhappiest Place in America. Yep, a MeMum visit Sunday. I hit almost every green light between here in Durham, only stopping for two. I pulled into the parking space and Sista pulled in a moment later. She had left her house, stopped at the grocery store and then went to McDonald’s to buy food and yet I only beat her by three minutes. If you knew how far out in the sticks she lived you would be impressed by her ability to get there so quickly. Clearly she has a grasp of the back roads. Getting there as quickly as I did proved to be fruitless, When we found Mom she was slumped over in her wheelchair with her head on the table. We wheeled her to a different table and tried to rouse her. There was no waking her from this deep slumber so we Sista and I yapped for two hours or so. We made one last ditch effort to awaken mom but to no avail. We kissed her on the head and went home.
I spent the rest of the afternoon sitting on the porch watching the world go by.

Today is Da Olda Sista's birfday!
I have the day off so I got some things accomplished.
I dropped Erica off at work!
I got gas!
I paid the self-storage vampires!
I went to the Dolla Sto'!
I paid rent!
That sounds like a lot but in reality it took an hour or so. Been watching old Looney Tunes cartoons on YouTube since finishing all this poop.

My favorite authors are Haruki Murakami and Sean Condon (I am pretty sure Sarah Bewley will the 3rd soon!). It's an honor when someone whose work you admire acknowledges you, even if it's on Shitbook.
